Jeanette M. Robertson was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on March 2nd 1934 to Emma and John Earle Jones. She went on to be with the Lord on Thursday September 15th 2016. She was the oldest of four children who preceded her in death. She married James Robertson Sr. and brought into this union three children James, Priscilla (preceded in death), and Darrell and she later married Mr. Herman Bennie.



Jeanette was educated in the Philadelphia Public School and graduated from Simon Gratz School.

Jeanette M. Robertson was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on March 2nd 1934 to Emma and John Earle Jones. She went on to be with the Lord on Thursday September 15th 2016. She was the oldest of four children who preceded her in death. She married James Robertson Sr. and brought into this union three children James, Priscilla (preceded in death), and Darrell and she later married Mr. Herman Bennie.



Jeanette was educated in the Philadelphia Public School and graduated from Simon Gratz School.



Jeanette was originally employed as a seamstress for many years and also was employed by Taxin and Son a major produce and food conveyer. She later changed careers and joined Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia where she was an administrative assistant and later retired as a hospital unit clerk.



While in Philadelphia she was a faithful member of Faith Emanuel Baptist Church under the Pastorship of Reverend J.A. McGruder until her relocation to Tampa Florida in 2012. Upon relocating to Tampa, she joined the ministry of Bible Based Fellowship Church now lead by Pastor Anthony C. White. She was an active member of the SAGE ministry until she began experiencing health issues.



She had a good sense of humor and was known as a pleasure to be around. She was a advid shopper and quite know for her stylish appearance.



Jeanette leaves to cherish her precious memory, her two sons James and Darrell, two daughter in laws Lenore nand Joanne, nine grandchildren, Seshmi, Shakirah, Tarajee, Nadiyah, Stephanie, James III, Tenieka, Allen James, Dujon, six nieces, ten great grands, and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
