Lydon, Geraldine Grace, 96 of Tampa. Born in Prescott, Ontario, Canada, on December 19th 1920 passed away August 7th 2017.

The oldest daughter of Samuel Lorne Good and Edna Victoria (Landon) Good, she was always known as Grace. Grace started work at the Phillips Electrical Works in Brockville, Canada as an operator, and then as a wire inspector. After her husband, Michael J. Lydon was honorably discharged from the RCAF, they moved to Florida, settling in Tampa in 1948. Grace joined the sales group at the downtown Maas Brothers Department Store, and worked there until the birth of her twin sons. In the following years she worked as an accounting clerk for the family business, and then rejoined Maas Brothers, this time at the Westshore Plaza location. A truly good person, and a great mom, she will be forever missed by her family.

She is survived by her sister, Wilma (Good) Hutt and her brother, Allan Good; her son, Mark Lydon and daughter-in-law Nancy (Crabtree) Lydon, and grandchildren Angelina Lydon and Michael Lydon; her son Michael Lydon and daughter-in-law Janice (Howe) Lydon, and grandchildren, Christopher Lydon, and Sarah (Lydon) Crooks, and great-grandchildren Lillian Crooks and Oliver Crooks.

After a private gathering, the family invites friends to join them for visitation at Blount & Curry’s Macdill Chapel, 605 S. Macdill Ave Tampa FL 33609 on August 12th from 2:30 to 3:30pm and a funeral service to begin at 3:30 pm and burial to follow at Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in Mrs. Lydon’s name, be made to a charity of the donor’s choice that provides for those in need.
