Was born in Mexico City, Mexico D.F. October 30, 1928; passed away March 28, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Emilio came to Tampa in 1953 for a visit. He liked it so much he asked his uncle if he would sponsor him for permanent residence here. He returned in August 1955. He met his future wife in 1956 and they married May 12, 1957. Emilio is survived by his wife of 57 years Esther Moreno, daughters Elaine Kelley, Elisa Rinderle and Paty Rojo. 8 grandchildren and three great grandsons. Sisters Nieves Bernal and Guillermina...

He liked it so much he asked his uncle if he would sponsor him for permanent residence here. He returned in August 1955. He met his future wife in 1956 and they married May 12, 1957. Emilio is survived by his wife of 57 years Esther Moreno, daughters Elaine Kelley, Elisa Rinderle and Paty Rojo. 8 grandchildren and three great grandsons. Sisters Nieves Bernal and Guillermina Pliego of Mexico City, Mexico; plus a large extended family. Emilio retired after 27 years from General Cable Corporation. He enjoyed his garden and made a park of the backyard at his home. He also liked to play golf with friends. Emilio met with his General Cable friends for lunch or dinner every month. There will be a funeral service on Thursday April 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 South MacDill Ave. Tampa Fl 33609. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Gulfside Hospice Pasco Palliative Care in Zephyrhills Emerald Team, 2061 Collier Parkway Land O Lakes Fl 34639, or any charity of your choice. A Celebration of life will be held after the funeral at Harbour House 2401 Bayshore Blvd. Tampa Fl 33629.
